Not only are Fridays fun, here at Academy of Discovery, Fridays are great days to have Fun & Learn!! Are you a stay at home parent? Have a preschooler or young child that could benefit from “real world” learning or discovery? Every Friday (depending on schedule) is dedicated to teaching young learners something different about the world, whether it’s learning a new color, number or word in Spanish, French or even Japanese! The principles established in the Montessori style of teaching is my preferred method to teaching children. My personal belief is that learning should be based on the individual child’s pace and to promote children to learn through real-world activities.
